The Immigration Civic Advocacy Network advocates for increased financial, social, and moral support for America’s immigrants. ICAN specializes in the naturalization phase of New Americans’ journeys.
ICAN, primarily through its Internship Program, engages in civic advocacy, supporting candidates, platforms, policies, budgets, organizations, and movements that call for increased support for immigrants and the citizenship process.
ICAN also advocates for increased involvement, engagement, and education in our communities, from the national level down to the cities and towns that form the unique tapestry of America.
Advocacy takes place in the forms of contacting elected representatives, supporting political campaigns, educating Americans about their civic history, engaging with local faith, business, and nonprofit leaders, and giving back to the community.
